Supplier management
Supplier data becomes useful inside inventory when it is time to order.
For a small team, supplier management does not necessarily mean deploying a complete procurement system. The daily need is often simpler: know where to buy the product again, its recent price, approximate lead time and which other references need ordering from the same place.

Attach the context
Each product can keep the supplier information that speeds up the next order: URL, reference, price or a useful note. Context belongs near the product instead of in a separate document that only one person knows how to find.
When several sources exist, distinguish the main supplier from alternatives. The cheapest line is not automatically best when delivery time, shipping cost or pack size changes the comparison. An offer is a decision input, not an eternal truth.

Connect lead time
Supplier lead time changes the amount of inventory required. A reference available locally tomorrow can tolerate a small buffer; an imported item taking several weeks deserves an earlier reorder point and sometimes more safety stock.
Reorder-point and safety-stock calculators make that assumption explicit. They cannot predict future supplier delays, but they at least force the decision to include the time between ordering and receiving.

Group purchases
Once products below threshold are identified, grouping them by supplier simplifies order preparation and can reduce delivery cost. Target stock says how much to buy to return to the desired level after subtracting stock already incoming.

Review prices
Supplier prices become stale. Date important observations and treat them as observations, especially for products whose cost moves often. An old price can remain useful history but should not be presented as a current offer.
